Vaccination against COVID-19 for children aged 5 and over has begun in Ukraine

Remember how you got sick with COVID-19?

It is very likely that even a mild course was unpleasant - with headache, lack of appetite, distortion of smells and weakness for a long time after recovery. What to say about severe cases where hospitalization and oxygen were required

💉 Having experienced the course and consequences of this disease once, you certainly do not want a child to experience something similar. Vaccinating children against COVID-19 is a safe and effective way to protect them from it. Vaccination protects the child from a severe course of the disease, as well as from the so-called pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome - a condition in which inflammation occurs in a number of organs (heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes or gastrointestinal tract), which can appear several weeks after infection.

In Ukraine, children are vaccinated from the age of 5. Children up to 12 years of age are vaccinated with a special children's vaccine Comirnaty produced by Pfizer-BioNTech. Children aged 12+ are vaccinated with a vaccine for adults from the same manufacturer.

🙏 If your child is already 5 years old, sign him up for vaccination against COVID-19. This can be done through a pediatrician, a family doctor, or on your own at https://vaccination.covid19.gov.ua/list.

When registering, specify the age of your child and the availability of childhood vaccines.
