The Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reminds of the SARS-C0V-2 test. Pay attention!
- In the case of receiving a negative result of a rapid test for the determination of SARS-CoV-2 antigen and/or a test for the determination of SARS-CoV-2 antigen by the ELISA method, the person is subject to examination by the PCR method in case of symptoms of suspected or probable cases of COVID-19.
- Laboratory testing for COVID-19 using the PCR method is mandatory for the following persons:
- patients who meet the definition of a suspected, probable case of COVID-19, with signs of ARVI, viral pneumonia, who have not undergone a rapid screening test for the determination of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen and/or a test for the determination of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen by the method IFA
- patients with community-acquired pneumonia;
- to contact persons in the event of symptoms that do not exclude COVID-19 (Appendix 5);
- employees of educational institutions before the start of full-time studies;
- residents of the same block or floor of the dormitory in case of registration of a case of a disease with COVID-19 based on an assessment of epidemic risks;
- to patients undergoing inpatient treatment in the department where a case of the disease with COVID-19 has been registered, based on the assessment of epidemic risks.
In order to prevent outbreaks in organized collectives and places of mass residence of people, it is recommended to carry out a laboratory examination for COVID-19 using the PCR method for the following persons:
- to internally displaced persons when settling in places of their temporary stay (towns made of prefabricated modules, dormitories, health camps, rest houses, sanatoriums, boarding houses, hotels, etc.);
- employees of sanatorium-resort and rehabilitation institutions once a quarter, as well as visitors of the specified institutions over the age of 12 before the start of their period of stay in the institution;
On the basis of an appeal from institutions, institutions, parts and subdivisions, emergency and rescue services of central executive bodies implementing state policy in the spheres of defense and military construction, protection of public order, civil protection, protection of the state border, execution of criminal penalties, State Administration of Affairs , the Security Service of Ukraine disease control and prevention centers can conduct testing of military personnel from among their personnel."
