Reduce your salt intake!

1. Salt, together with sugar, claims the title of "white death". 14% of deaths in the world are caused by high blood pressure, some of them are related to excessive salt consumption.

2. Salt retains fluid in the body. Consequently, the volume of blood circulating through the vessels increases - and blood pressure increases. The body adapts to increased pressure. But there are almost always complications in the form of hypertension

crises, heart attacks and strokes.

About 70% of the salt we consume is in ready-made products that we buy on the shelves of supermarkets.


Which ready-made products have the most salt?

 bread;

 processed meat products;

 hard cheese;

canned goods and semi-finished products.


Salt consumption should be reduced to 5 grams per day, which is one teaspoon without a top.
