Proteins of animal origin

The Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine tells what and how much to consume.

ü Chicken eggs are an important source of essential amino acids,

fat-soluble (A, D, E) and water-soluble (B2, B12, folic acid) vitamins, as well as a number of important minerals - calcium, iron, iodine, selenium, zinc.

It is recommended to use one or two chicken eggs per day.

Fish is a source of vitamin D and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids. Omega-3 is almost not found in other food products.

The target level of fish consumption is two to three fish dishes per week, of which at least one should be from marine fish

Meat is a tasty food product with a balanced composition of essential amino acids.

Consumption of pork, beef and lamb should be less than 500 g per week, while it should be consumed as much as possible

less processed meat products (sausages, sausages, pates, semi-finished products, etc.).
