Why should vaccination be done?

Vaccination is an important means of protecting your health and the health of your family. They help prevent the spread of dangerous infectious diseases and reduce the risk of their complications, thus protecting you and your loved ones ❤️

In order to be vaccinated according to the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations, you only need to contact your family doctor, who will provide you with detailed information and a schedule for their administration.

If you do not yet have a family doctor, you can contact any medical facility near you. There you can also get vaccinations according to the National Immunization Calendar, advice on recommended vaccines if needed.

Why should vaccination be updated? Revaccination is necessary to strengthen and increase the duration of the body's protection, which was formed thanks to vaccination.

For example, to restore protection against diphtheria and tetanus, revaccination should be done every 10 years, because over time the level of antibodies to neutralize the toxin decreases.

According to WHO recommendations, the percentage of vaccination against diseases that can be prevented by vaccination should not be lower than 95%. It is this level that makes it possible to prevent the spread of these diseases in communities and can protect people who cannot be vaccinated due to medical contraindications.

High vaccination coverage creates herd immunity that protects everyone. Even a minimal decrease in this percentage is a risk and a threatening situation for the country.

Take care of yourself and be responsible for timely vaccination. So we will all be able to prevent the spread of diseases together!
