"What to feed a child before school? Can you bring sweets with you? What about gadgets?”
Many parents are interested in these questions. How to find that balance to harmoniously and healthily combine your child's schedule and leisure time?
Balanced nutrition
Children who have full breakfasts in their diet are more successful and attentive in their studies. The child's body is actively developing, so it needs products rich in proteins and fats - meat, fish, milk, kefir, cheese, taking into account age needs. You also need to eat vegetables and fruits.
Keep in mind that children can eat 5-20 grams of sugar per day. A good alternative to candies and cookies can be dried fruits - dates, dried apricots, figs, etc. But remember that you don't need to admire them either.
Sports and creative activities
They should spend enough time so that the child has time to do his homework, communicate with his family, go outside, eat on time, sleep 8-10 hours, join in the homework and at the same time have free time.
Gadgets
If we consider games and videos as topics for communication with peers, it is unlikely that the child will feel comfortable falling out of context. Therefore, it is not necessary to ban, but it is better to introduce parental control over time and content. For example, 2 hours before bedtime, the phone is automatically locked until the morning. The rules should be clear and discussed between you and the child. It's not easy, but it's worth a try.
Doctor's examinations
Except when the child is sick, the family doctor or pediatrician should be seen every year, as well as for vaccinations. You should visit a dentist every six months or more often - for professional teeth cleaning, timely detection of caries, monitoring the formation of a correct bite and changing milk teeth to permanent ones. Your family doctor will refer you to all other specialists.
