A briefing dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases was held at the Ukraine-Lviv Media Center for the International Heart Day.
Among the main causes of cardiovascular diseases is an indifferent attitude to lifestyle, which is now being reinforced by the war factor.
"Among the main factors that provoke the occurrence and exacerbation of cardiovascular diseases in the first place: smoking, drinking alcohol, reducing the level of physical activity, unhealthy diet.
As if things are elementary. But if we listen to the advice of specialists, then we can not only reduce morbidity rates, but also save the lives of people who die due to heart attacks, strokes or other cardiovascular diseases", - explains Natalya, Director General of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Ivanchenko.
