UNICEF provided Ukraine with 120 thousand doses of vaccine against whooping cough, diphtheria and tetanus.
Vaccination against these dangerous diseases is free. According to the national vaccination calendar, the AKDP vaccine is administered at the ages of 2, 4, 6, and 18 months, then at 6 years of age revaccination with ADP vaccine (diphtheria-tetanus) and at 16 years of age with ADP-M vaccine. Adults are recommended to be revaccinated with the ADP-M vaccine every ten years.
