Monitoring of the incidence of SARS in the population of Lviv region, for the 47th week of 2023

According to the monitoring of the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in the population of Lviv region, in the 47th week of 2023 (20.11-26.11) 11,143 cases of SARS were registered (453.0 per 100,000 population) against 10,990 cases (446.8 per 100,000 us.) for the previous week - an increase in morbidity by 1.4%.

For the 47th week, the intensive indicator of the incidence of SARS, including COVID-19, is 4.4% higher than the epithreshold of 434.07, which corresponds to the average level of epidemic activity of the incidence of SARS.

In the structure of morbidity, the specific weight of children under the age of 17 was 53.4% - 5,947 people.

Since the beginning of the epidemic season, 6,320 people have been vaccinated against influenza in the Lviv region, 2,878 of them from the medical and epidemic risk group.

359 people fell ill with the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 against 426 in the previous week.

2 deaths were registered among patients aged 58 and 89 years.

63 patients were receiving inpatient treatment.

1,102,787 people were vaccinated against coronavirus with one dose, 1,038,833 received the second dose, 202,837 received the first booster, and 21,021 received the second booster.
