Modern recommendations of the World Health Organization and our national recommendations advise limiting the amount of sugar in the diet: no more than 50 grams of free sugar per day (that's 10 teaspoons). And even better, half as much, that is, 5 teaspoons, without the top.
Why reduce sugar consumption? What will it give you?
- The risk of gaining excess weight will decrease.
- The probability of cardiovascular, oncological diseases and diabetes will decrease.
- Dental health will improve.
- And, since you will eat less useless products, there will be room in the diet for useful ones: vegetables, fruits, cereals, nuts.
Your body will thank you!
