A nationwide campaign to vaccinate children against measles is starting in Ukraine

As part of the campaign before the new school year, mobile vaccination teams will vaccinate children who missed vaccination due to war or other circumstances.

The measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine has been delivered to each region.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) delivered 657,000 doses of the combined CPC vaccine to Ukraine in support of the National Immunization Program.

Measles is a dangerous disease that is a threat to unvaccinated children and adults. It is transmitted by airborne droplets and is extremely contagious.

Children should receive two vaccinations with the PDA vaccine: at 1 year and at 6 years.

If the child missed the scheduled vaccination, it is necessary to catch up as soon as possible.

Children over 6 years of age who have not had any vaccinations for PDA are recommended to receive two doses of the vaccine with an interval of at least 1 month between them.
